Firm Childcare Director
Wendy's Bio
At Tovella Dowling, PC, we understand the unique challenges that working parents face and the sacrifices they often make to balance their careers and family life. That’s why we are committed to investing in our employees by offering subsidized childcare benefits through our onsite childcare facility.
Leading this important initiative is Wendy Dowell, our dedicated Firm Child Care Director. With a formal education in Child Development and extensive experience as a working mother herself, Wendy brings both professional expertise and personal understanding to her role. Her deep empathy for the demands of working parents informs her approach to childcare, ensuring that every child receives the consideration, care, and nurture they deserve.
Wendy is passionate about creating a supportive and engaging environment where children can thrive. She oversees our childcare facility with a focus on providing enriching activities that promote learning and development in a safe and welcoming setting.
Outside of her role at Tovella Dowling, Wendy enjoys spending time with her husband, daughter and cat, Luna. She is excited to be part of a team that values the well-being of both its employees and their families and looks forward to continuing to make a positive impact on the lives of our little ones.
As a mother, educator, and advocate for working families, I’ve spent my life nurturing not only children, but the environments they grow in. I know firsthand the weight that working parents carry—the tug between being present at home and performing in the workplace. At Tovella Dowling, I’ve found a place where that tension is not only acknowledged, but actively addressed.
With every schedule I plan, every activity I oversee, and every tear I help dry, I am helping build a world where parents—especially mothers—do not have to choose between their careers and their children. I am proud to support a mission that sees childcare not as a perk, but as essential infrastructure for equity.
I show up each day for the parents who are striving, the children who are growing, and the belief that strong families are the foundation of strong communities. Because when we care for our youngest, we empower their parents—and in doing so, we help create a more just and compassionate world.
